So yesterday I wrote about REJECTION, today it is the gift of REFLECTION!!
Today I was sitting across the table from a good friend of mine. I tend to have these incredible, what I like to call “DIVINE” connections with certain people in my life but most of all the WAY these people COME to be in my life is extraordinarily Beautiful. It is always a scenario that makes zero sense other then to say they were placed there by GOD/ a Higher Power. With this particular friend it was one of those things where you meet the person and you say to yourself . . . wow, I have some work to do with that Soul in this life. You don’t worry about HOW you will get in touch with them again because you are certain that “since” you are working on your purpose path that they are sure to resurface if it is meant to be and WHEN it is meant to happen.
So I am sitting down at lunch and the conversation just flows. . . i am able to see into this person as if I was reading the souls handbook. I can not explain how I do this, but its the thing that brings me the greatest joy . . . to SEE AND UNDERSTAND another’s life purpose. I am able to do this like most people look at a handbook for a car and see how it works. I do the same with people 
not sure how but I do. But in doing this and in reiterating it to them and seeing how it affects them . . . I am also AWAKENED to that JOY that we can ONLY FEEL when we are doing the WORK we were put on this planet to do. Its a beautiful reminder of how and why WE ALL REALLY DO NEED EACH OTHER!!! WE ARE BETTER TOGETHER THEN WE ARE APART AS Chandanni always says
I feel it is important to write about “reflection” today because throughout my own life, my deepest PAIN came from not being “reflected”. When I was growing up . . . NO ONE around me could RELATE to the way I saw the world or the way I would speak about the DEEPER things in life. They would appreciate but ultimately just turn the other way because it was “weird” or “artsy” or “different”.
Today my own gift was reflected to me in the most sacred of ways! By being in the presence of another who was OPEN enough to show me the truth, to just BE and in doing that I was able to appreciate and perceive in the way that I could share back and help others to REMEMBER our true purpose, the work of our SOUL, not the work that we do at our 9-5. The work of the SOUL is what we are here to do, here to reflect and here to SHARE! We all get soooooo caught up in the way things LOOK, the status of our lives and the “IMAGE” of our world that we loose our joy simply in PURPOSE.
Rejection and Reflection . . . 2 words that rime and are two sides of the same coin. We reject what we can’t see and are afraid to see within our own selves and we Reflect the truth and the soul when we are open enough, awake enough and present enough to truly LIVE!
